The 50 questions we hear most often. If yours isn't here, open the chat in the bottom-right, our support assistant answers most questions on the spot and hands off to a human when it can't.
Usually within a couple of minutes. After checkout your server is provisioned automatically, the connection details appear on your dashboard as soon as it is live, and we email them to you as well.
No. The dashboard handles version switches, restarts and backups visually. If you want to go deeper, a live in-browser console and a built-in file manager are right there on your server's dashboard.
No setup fee and no contract. Monthly plans are cancel-any-time from the dashboard; one-time and quarterly purchases simply run for their term and stop.
Yes, start a free trial. Spin up a real server with no card and no charge, test the setup speed, the dashboard and inviting a friend, and only pay if you want to keep it. Like what you built? One payment keeps that exact server, your world carries straight over, nothing is wiped. Look for the “Start a free trial” button on any game page.
Once your server is live, its address, a hostname and a port, is shown on your dashboard and emailed to you. Share that address with your players so they can join; some games also use a server password, which you set from the dashboard.
Minecraft (Java and Bedrock), Palworld, V Rising, Project Zomboid, The Forest, Core Keeper, Vintage Story, Terraria, Satisfactory, Create Aeronautics (modded Minecraft) and Foundry Virtual Tabletop, plus Hytale, ready for launch day. The catalogue spans survival, sandbox, Minecraft and tabletop games and keeps growing. See the games page for live pricing on each.
Quite possibly. If your game ships a Linux dedicated-server build, send us the details through the contact form and we'll look at adding it to the catalogue.
For Java we default to Paper and offer a version picker that stays current with new releases (1.18 and up); you can also upload any server JAR you prefer. Bedrock runs the latest stable build from Mojang.
Yes. Upload your own server JAR, Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, Quilt or Purpur, and we run it, or pick a curated modpack at checkout on the packs that offer one. A paste-a-URL installer that pulls packs from CurseForge or Modrinth for you is on the roadmap; today you bring the archive.
Yes. Drop Spigot, Bukkit or Paper plugins into the plugins folder using the in-browser file manager, then restart the server from the dashboard.
Yes, we're set up for Hytale and ready for launch day. You can order a plan now and spin the server up as soon as the game releases.
A monthly plan is a subscription, the cheapest way to run, billed each month, cancel any time. Quarterly is a single pre-paid payment for three months at a discount, with no auto-renewal. One-time is a single pre-paid payment for 30 days, also with no renewal. Pick whichever suits how long you want to play.
iDEAL, credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Bancontact and Google Pay. Monthly subscriptions can also pay by SEPA Direct Debit. Everything is billed in euros, and the exact total is shown before you pay.

Yes. Every payment produces a PDF invoice you can download from your dashboard. Add your company name, address and VAT number in your billing details and they appear on it automatically.
No. No setup fee, no migration fee, and no traffic-overage fees, traffic is unmetered. Any optional add-on is priced clearly on the product page before you buy.
Sometimes, we run the occasional campaign, so it's worth watching for a code. Enter it at checkout. One promo applies per order, and a promo code can't be combined with account points on the same order.
We retry the charge automatically and email you. You can also update your card and hit “Retry payment” from your dashboard. Your server keeps running during a short grace period of about 7 days; if payment still hasn't gone through after that, the server is suspended until you settle up, your data is not deleted during this window.
On a monthly subscription you can switch to a bigger or smaller tier from your dashboard at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and are pro-rated on your next invoice; downgrades apply from your next renewal. One-time and quarterly purchases are fixed for their term.
Resources come bundled into tiers, each tier sets RAM, CPU and disk together. To get more (or less), switch tiers from your dashboard on a monthly plan. We don't sell CPU, RAM and disk as separate sliders.
From your dashboard, or by email. On a monthly plan your server keeps running until the end of the current billing period and you're not charged again. One-time and quarterly purchases simply expire at the end of their term.
We don't run a money-back guarantee, the way to try risk-free is the free trial: test everything before you pay a cent. To set your server up instantly you waive the statutory 14-day withdrawal right at checkout (standard for digital services that start immediately), so a purchase isn't refundable as a matter of course. If something genuinely went wrong on our side, email us, any refund is at our sole discretion, assessed case by case. Full details are in our Terms of Service.
You choose your billing model, monthly, quarterly or one-time, when you order, and there's no in-dashboard switch between them afterwards. To change, let your current plan end (or cancel it) and order again on the model you want, or contact support and we'll help.
Modern server hardware picked for single-thread speed, which is what game ticks actually depend on, paired with fast SSD storage.
We keep our nodes comfortably under full capacity so there is headroom at peak. Your live CPU usage is shown on the dashboard, so you can always see how much room you have.
In the European Union. We run a single EU region today and open more only when there is real demand, tell us where your players are if you need another.
Yes, always-on, network-level DDoS protection is included on every plan, at no extra cost.
No. Traffic is unmetered and there are no overage fees.
Yes. Your server runs around the clock, it is not put to sleep when idle. You can stop, start or restart it yourself from the dashboard whenever you like.
It depends on the game and your tier, more RAM and CPU headroom means more concurrent players. If you start hitting limits, switch to a higher tier from your dashboard (on monthly plans) and you have room again.
Download your modpack as an archive, a CurseForge or Modrinth server pack, a .zip or .tar.gz, and upload it through the dashboard's file manager. We snapshot your server first so you can roll back, then extract the archive for you. A paste-a-URL installer is on the roadmap; today you bring the archive.

Offline-mode (so-called “cracked”) servers are technically supported but switched off by default. If you need it for a specific server, open a ticket and we'll enable it for you.
You create backups from your dashboard whenever you like, and download, restore or delete them yourself. Restoring asks you to stop the server first so the files settle cleanly.
Each plan includes a number of backup slots that depends on your tier, the count is shown when you pick a tier. If you need more history, a higher tier or downloading older backups to keep off-site covers it.
Your server stays online until the end of the period you have paid for. After it ends we keep your files for 7 days, per our Terms, so you can re-activate by re-ordering, after that they are permanently deleted. You can download a full export at any time.
Yes, one click from the data export page in your account. We build a downloadable archive of your profile, billing details, services and invoices and email you a secure link, usually within a minute; the link stays valid for 7 days.

Netlonics is intended for players aged 16 and up. If the player is under 16, a parent or legal guardian needs to give consent and should set up the billing. We've written a plain-language “For parents” page covering safety, privacy and costs, it’s linked in the footer.

Our old “invite a friend for points” program has been retired, so we no longer hand out points for sign-ups. We do run a small, curated creator programme for people who make content about game hosting, if that's you, mention it through the contact form and we'll take it from there.
Yes. Any points you earned before the invite program ended are still yours and never expire. Apply them at checkout to lower the first charge on a new server, each point is worth €0.01. You can cover most of a bill, down to a small €0.50 minimum so we can run the card. Points cannot be combined with a promo code on the same order, and they are store credit, not cashable.
Not anymore, the friend-referral program has ended and no new points are issued for sign-ups. Points already in your account stay valid and redeemable as described above.
